During Diwali season, the actor wore a Karnataka red soil and Multani mitti body ornament by The Vernacular Modern with an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla khadi lehenga and dupatta as a tribute to Indian heritage. Created in gaji silk, the length of the drape is divided into square grids through white Bandhani or tie-dye dots, traditional motifs like paisleys, elephants and peacocks. The finishing touches were a complete polki set including a maang tikka, collar neckpiece, earrings and bangles.

Crushed alta-hued silk set

Designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s crushed silk four-piece set included a lehenga, blouse, dupatta and churidar in a customary Alta hue, bringing forth the piety and auspiciousness of this tone for many Hindu communities. In this masterpiece by Ritu Kumar, the couturier brings together a sari, a jacket and a shirt instead of the classic blouse. The featherlight sari featured jamavar print finished with hand embroidery, while the printed silk shirt was adorned with aari and tikki work.
